Open Subtitles works well for me, but it might also depend on what language(s) you need.

For TV Shows, Addic7ed. For reasons unknown that's not in the official repository, even though it was OKed by the website's admin.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you

I downloaded subtitles perfect on Kodi but they’re being used on Netflix instead of the actual Netflix subtitles. Is there a way I can change that? (Xbox one)
