[Bluray Junkies]

I've been using Kodi back when it was XBMC and I've had no issues until now. When I play a movie or TV Show the audio does not have much bass and the surround sound isnt powerful as it use to be. I also notice it's shows up as PCM 5.1 and not DTS is this correct? Ive never paid attention to that in the past

I have a DTS HD 5.I receiver and its connected to my TV. My HTPC is also connected to my receiver via HDMI. I also have audio in KODI set to WASAPI HDMI and Passthrough is set to Direct HDMI.

Change your pass-through to WASAPI HDMI. Give that a try and let us know.
