OK, look at the artwork urls for that show - they're all remote urls and none of them include the text "Brain Games". Your poster is called
text:
http://www.thetvdb.com/banners/posters/252570-3.jpg
so try ./texturecache.py s 252570-3.jpg

Hi tjost, thanks, but the posters were constantly breaking on my Raspberry Pi and were always fine on my Windows PCs -- it would be odd, if that Internet problem were only happening on the Raspberry, no?

I found a solution, I blame the filesystem.

I deleted the texture13.db and the Thumbnails, regenerated everything with the texturecache script and now it works fine.

Thanks for all your support!

Hi,
I've got the same problem with kodi 18 milhouse build on my RPi3b+. Didn't find a solution until I've switched from SMB to NFS (I think @Milhouse said there was a change in SMB Protocol [emoji848]). Now every picture is loading fine...

Hi, my problem came back. I have set back the thread to unresolved...

It would fit well to my problem that this is related to SMB. I'm running Kodi 17.6

Here's a fresh debug-log, this time with SMB and WebDav component logging enabled:

Also, here's a current screenshot, this time, movie posters + movie fanart are affected. Like usual, what's affected is quite random and changes from Kodi start to start.

Things seem to get worse. Especially funny: I have a fanart screensaver and sometimes, the fanart is almost just a green screen.

Any ideas?

You probably have corrupted databases. Probably a faulty SD card, or one that the Raspberry Pi does not work well. Try with another.
