The pandemic has been hard on lots of people
and some may have died from covid19 or suicide etc.. so hard to know what has happened to wrxtasy 

Disappointing to realize that the front page is no longer getting updated with the newer devices (ie FireTV 4k Max, Chromecast with Google TV etc)..
since many of us regularly are using this thread front page to help with buying decisions..

And moving forward, this thread's front page is going be even more outdated as even more devices keep coming out.

Would it be more wiser/better if you or someone could start a new 4k thread and redirect to some wiki page or pulls data from the wiki page (where any person can edit)
so that it will always be up to date and not reliant on the original poster that controls the entire front page to maintain the updated info?

I think you could be someone that could start some wiki like this 
since you have been a regular helpful poster here..

Unfortunately this is one of the most looked at/discussed/useful threads on kodi 
since many people want an overall page of all the main devices released or new ones that can playback 4k smoothly etc..
and last time he was on here was in 2020-12-20, so lots of newer devices are not getting added and front page is getting badly outdated.

Might be time to start a wiki that is opened to editing by anyone
to keep the info up to date.

Yeah it was... I used it many times as a guide. Sad to see it so outdated and irrelevant now.

I guess the best aspect of it was that @wrxtasy strived for impartiality (or at least that was what I got from it). A open Wiki for everybody to edit probably will end up with Shield fans force feeding us about how great their player choice is... so it might not be a good idea.
