I understand this PR https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/13814 has been temporarily taken out of current Leia nightlies because of some other bug hunting going on. Any chance this could be re-added soon, since performance improvement was significant?

this PR never was in normal nightlies, since it hasn't been merged yet. Maybe you mean millhouse LE builds?

Oops, I was under the impression that all general Kodi PRs in Milhouse builds would also be present in other platforms.
