The Movie Database. At least that is what Kodi is showing as it scans content. It is also using the TVDB.

Yes, I saw that it was not listed at TMDB, and why I asked for a log, to get a clearer picture of what is happening.
Like you said, I think it is a simple matter of trying to scrape a movie that does not exist, or trying to scrape with TVDB.
The IMDB description is TV Special, so possibly some confusion with TVDB

Updated the entry with the year {through the release information section}; so far Kodi still isn't pulling it in. Not sure how often or dynamic the database is, but I've given it a few hours.

Putting the parenthesis around the year did it!
Little confused as to why since all my other movies I put the year after the title without parenthesis and they update fine.
The little successes in life make for a brighter day. Thank you!

Great that it finally worked.
The year is a tricky one. We always recommend using the parenthesis as on the rare occasion the year can be confused as part of the title by the scraper.
