I have a simple personal addon for my IPTV provider at home. With this, addon I can play my local TV channels. These channels use MPEG DASH with widevine encryption. In my addon, the widevine license is checked and the channell can be played.

Now, I would like to use these channels in the KODI 'TV' section, with a proper EPG. Would it be possible to use the Simple IPTV client to refer to my own addon for the licensing process of the channels? To be more precise: my addon results in a stream URL and a widevine licensing server URL. Both of these can be used to play the stream in KODI via inputstream.adaptive.

Would it be possible to combine this solution with Simple IPTV client (or another KODI IPTV client)?

In Kodi leia (current nightlies) you can use plugin:// paths as the url of the channel in an m3u list in IPTV Simple.
M3U lists also support KODIPROPs as strm files do
