I have recently installed linux mint, i've got kodi running on it now, but i can not install any repo's or skins, when kodi first started up it did actually work because i set the weather up, but during setting up a new skin, its changed somehow.
In the settings, kodi is saying its connected to the internet, and on the computer the browsers fine, its just kodi.
i'n new to linux, but grasping it, can anyone offer any help on what i can do to get this issue sorted please.

Just a hunch.  Use this command in the Terminal and post up the results...

It seems somehow that Linux distros (i.e. Debian, Mint, etc) other than main Ubuntu have some sort of itch in one way or another against Kodi.
Kodi seems to play just nice with the straight forward Ubuntu 14/16/18.
Perhaps you can find out something in the Linux Mint forum(s).

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file.

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.
