thought that it'd be a nice thing for binge watcher that when a show ends kodi automatically plays the next episode in the series similar to how netflix does it. also for watching videos in random order one after another a shuffle play would be great for those of us who watch cartoons like loony tunes or tom and jerry ect. just something i think would make kodi even better. thanks

To have kodi play one episode after the other turn on the first setting under video
https://kodi.wiki/view/Settings/Player/Videos

to have shuffle play you can create a smartplaylist (wiki) or video node (wiki) that is sorted randomly

Also if you use Add-on:Nextup_Service_Notification (wiki) it will give you a similar notification to Netflix at the end of a video.
