Linux Play home movies and downloaded videos

Hello,

Just trying to get back into Kodi now that I have a use case again. I've thrown together a Raspberry PI 3 for the kids to use with the van's entertainment system. I've got all of our movies and the couple shows we own digitized and playing perfectly. How does everyone get their non-scrape able videos into Kodi and organized?

Thanks!

NFO Files is what you need... https://kodi.wiki/view/NFO_files

Using one of the Media Managers is probably the best way to go, as the fields are presented in a way that is simple and easy to edit.

Here is a screenshot from TMM, obviously showing a "scrapable" item, but just as easy to create for "unscrapable" items...

Also be sure to check out Artwork, so you know how to save posters and fanart for Kodi to find... https://kodi.wiki/view/Artwork
