v18 Video jerks extremely but only with some devices
#1
Sad
Hi!
First: I am new to the Kodi universe and can not speak English very well, so I apologize for spelling mistakes.

My Problem:
I have MP4 videos with the codec H.264 and do not know so much about it, so here's a photo:

With this format Kodi seems to have a problem, the video jerky after a few seconds and makes more problems.
I did not find support email on the website, so I have written it in this forum now.
Does anyone have any idea how to solve such problems or how to contact someone who will forward the problem to the developers? Or is there a codec addon suitable for that?
I have this problem worst on my FireTV but on ios and windows too.

Since I am not a specialist in this area I hope someone can help me.
Thanks, kruljulord

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

The instructions are here... debug log (wiki)

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file.

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Always use a paste site like pastebin.com. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum

h264 AVC/MPEG 10bit video..?!? There is no GPU acceleration hardware for that, as far as I know. The CPU will have to do all the hard work.

Also, next time don't use Mega upload. I hate having to download log or zip files first before I can watch it. Pastebin.com will do just fine, or is your tinfoil hat too big for that? Smile
