I like a lot of things about TMM, but one thing that really bugs me is that double-clicking on a movie displays info instead of playing it. Is there a way to configure TMM so that double-clicking on a movie plays it?

I do not have an answer for you, but I wanted to comment on the topic. I would be against a change of the behaviour from edit to play, unless there is an option. To me, a double click defaulting to play would be unexpected and personally unwanted behaviour. That is not to say your post is in any way bad, just making a counter point that the current method is at least just as much desired.

Right. Being able to choose the preferred behavior in the options menu would be ideal, I think.

sorry, have to disagree - tmm is a media manager an NO media center.
so double click to enter the editor is the only logical action; I won't add a settings for that because tmm should stay "simple"
