Have you tried removing everything that has anything to do with XBMC?
After removing the old packages you should update and install.
Hardware: ASUS P5N7A-VM with 2GB RAM and Intel Celeron 430 1,8GHz @ 3,06GHz

I've also have problem with svn23626 - but after rollback to svn23588 after playing a whole avi file (fe tvshow episode) I get a black screen and my xbmc freeze. If i just before end of file hit 'display' I get an ordinary menu and everything is working.

Many thanks MrDVD for the commands to replace the version. After I updated XBMC today it was acting quite strange. With your instructions I was able to replace it with a more stable SVN version. Cheers!

Yep, that was my fault sorry. I didn't have time to check the package name myself. Hopefully BaerMan cleared this up enough for you man.
