Weirdest thing ever. Running win7 with WMC and ServerWMC - ver 1247. Clients on Win7 (same box), Win10, Minix, MiBox (Oreo), Shield (Oreo) and FireTV. 6 tuner setup - minimal load on the Win7 machine. Clients either Kodi 17.6 or 19.0
Playback of recorded TV all good on all Clients except for the Shield.
Life TV playbach - or watching a stream while being recorded - has problems on the Shield and MiBox
On the Shield Kodi 18.0 starts OK and skip forward works fine. After a while however the skip forward is limited to 7 seconds with the progress bar showing that it's at the end. A stop and start fixes it. Look like the playback doesn't notice the file is still being added to and grows...
On the Mibox Kodi 17.6 starts OK but after a while the video freezes or stutters badly. Sound not affected at all. At times things unfreeze and get maybe 10 secs of normal video (in sync with sound) but goes back into freeze again after that. Never bombs out. Once recording is completed the file can be played back normally... Source is H264 HD
Any ideas here?? I'm pulling my hair out..
