I have a HTPC running w10 and nvidia 1030gt.and now running latest kodi 18 build. So that I can play 4K UHD movies.

But for some reason movies HD and UHD are lagging.

I have tried installing addon to increase buffer or something for testing, but no addon is working. Anyone know of a working addon that I can try?
Or better have any idea on what I should try to get rid of the lagging?

Perhaps those videos do no have the proper video acceleration? A GT1030 can do an 8K video pretty easy.

So, provide us the debug log (wiki) showing the lagging problems.
And AFAIK, there are no add-ons for increasing the buffer...
