Using Harmony remote with a Raspberry Pi
#1
Hello people,

Hope someone can help me.
I'm using openelec on a Pi3 with my harmony ultimate with a bluetooth hub. Everything is working fine. The Pi is also connected to an AV-receiver where the signals are going through.
How can i shutdown my Pi after I pressed the PowerOff on my remote?
Is it also possible to start the Pi when I press the activity on the remote?

Thanks in advance !

OpenELEC has become outdated as it has received no updates or development for over a year. Try switching to LibreELEC for up-to-date workings.

9/10 people simply do not power off a Raspberry Pi since its power usage is already so low to begin with. Also a RPi does not have a suspend mode. Powering up again via a remote by deafult is not possible.
