Hello, I have a problem with Kodi in  windows 10. I have installed the latest version but as soon as I try to open it I get the error "Kodi has stopped working". The same error appears in previous versions as well. I attach the log

Latest isn't a version;

Also your log shows you're using 17.5 which isn't even the latest stable version let alone the latest nightly version.

Try downloading and installing 17.6 (the current latest stable version) and try again.

If that doesn't work then we need a Debug Log not a normal one, use option 3

Your 12 year old Intel® HD Graphics 3000 is likely to be the problem.  Lack of driver support in Win10 from Intel.  Intel drivers never got past Win7 (last updated in 2012).  And I doubt HP ever bothered with an update.

Try turning OFF the Hardware Acceleration in KODI.  You'll need to let the CPU do all the work.  Don't be surprised if it still struggles\fails.

If you can start KODI, go to Settings, then Player.  Under Video experiment with the "Render Method".  Software will be the CPU working for you instead.  Also try the older "Pixel Shaders" method.

Though don't be surprised if you get no where.  I am sure there are plenty of older threads about these Intel graphics chips in the forum.

There is a hardware support page in the wiki, but I don't know how up to date it is.

That shows your "sandybridge" graphics card barely scraping in at the bottom of the list.
