Hello, I wanted to add the following movie in Kodi:

The name of the folder is:

Wild Tales from the Village

The name of the file is:

Wild Tales from the Village.bluray.dtshd.x264.mkv

I can't find any error and the scraper (The movie database, version 3.1.6) can't find the movie.

If I follow the hints in the wiki it works as expected with a nfo file containing the link of the movie on the website.

Here is what I can get from the log file:

es_movies/Wild Tales From The Village/Wild Tales From The Village.bluray.dtshd.x264.mkv', it won't be add
ed to the library.

For me this solution would be ok. But can it be helpful perhaps to find a bug in the scraper ? I can provide information if necessary.

The problem is caused by the missing year and release information at the MovieDB website. If you have an account at TheMovieDB, I suggest you add the release date and it should scrape correctly. If not, then you have already found the workaround by using the Parsing NFO file.

There is no problem with the Kodi scraper, just incomplete information at the MovieDB site. Hope that helps.

I have created an account and added the release year and now it works as expected. Thank you!!

I was surprised, I have the last version of Libreelec.... I have looked at the version of the library for the scraper. The scraper for themoviedb.org is the last version.
