Solved "Could not connect to repository"

Had the same issue on the weekend with alpha 3. Can't install from repos and YouTube/Twitch AddOns wouldn't stream. Installed 32 bit and it all works

Do you guys still have issues connecting to the repo with the beta1 version?

I have tried all alphas and now beta1 on three different win10 1803 systems (all x64 kodi version, one vm) and had no issues.

What ever last nights nightly was (8/15/18) is the last version I’ve tried with no luck. Strangely I too can successfully get it working on a vm I have running on my Mac so I know it’s not my network or isp.

There's no logic in that.
I can't think of any cause to this issue some are experiencing on some systems. Unable to reproduce. Weird..

I know! Why the hell would it work on a VM Windows 10 install and also on a Mac all on the same network but it wont work on a brand new computer with a freshly installed Windows OS and nothing else??

Driving me nuts!

Same here, 2 computers, same win version(pro), same update level, same network. 1 comp kodi L Beta works fine under normal install and usb stick portable copy, the other latest Kodi K normal install works fine but L Portable USB cannot connect. Similar log to others posted. Maybe be interesting to others that know more about Kodi. Live streams working from USB portable on Comp 2, but cannot connect to repository error. Apps scrape with results but will not play.

Is there a logged bug for this? Is this being worked on?

I’ve had Kodi devs comment when I pointed this issue out but no indication that is actively being worked on or even officially acknowledged as an issue.

Multiple people are seeing the same issue.

Logs have been provided.

For some reason I can't log into the bug tracker to submit a bug even though it is supposed to be the same login as the forums here.
