Hello
Newbie here, so apologies if this is in the wrong forum.
I recently purchased an nVidia Shield unit and have the Kodi app installed. I am looking to use the unit to provide access through IPTV to Arabic language TV channels which I used to get via satellite (but which are no longer available to most of Europe).
I have two questions, and would appreciate any feedback on them.
Firstly, I understand I need to setup an PVR addon in the Kodi app. I've seen the one listed as "IPTV Simple Client" recommended previously - are there any better alternatives? The description states the addon is "unstable". To be clear, I am hoping to use the addon to access a service through some .m3u playlist and simply view channels and have access to an EPG.
Secondly, is actually finding a service that will allow me access to the content. Can anyone recommend any official sources of Arabic language IPTV? Ideally, I would like one where I can simply subscribe and receive an .m3u playlist incorporating my credentials to use with the Kodi addon.
Thanks!
Odaik.
