Just started using Kodi 17.6 over the last couple of days and have managed to get Live TV running using NextPVR addon also installed the NextPVR software on my Win7 PC.
So it takes a fair while to load in the channels on kodi, but the thing I don't understand is why do all the channels disappear after kodi is restarted?
When starting kodi TV again after a restart all channels are reloaded all over again..

Anyone know how to fix this?

Part of the startup routine for any PVR addon (not just the NextPVR one) is to sync with the backend and get an updated channel list.  I've never noticed my channels disappear during the process, but I only have 100 or so loading, so it only takes a few seconds and I can't get to the PVR screen fast enough to see what's actually happening for sure.

I've only got 40 to 50 channels. So I don't know why mine takes so long.

It's probably not so much the channel list, but rather the TV listings. Kodi downloads all the TV listings, and updates it's local database each time you start Kodi.
