Hey guys,

I've been running Arctic Zephyr on Kodi 17.x and was very happy with it, but it looks like the skin itself won't be updated for 18.x. Is there another skin with similar layout, colour usage etc. that I could use for Kodi 18? So far I haven't found anything similar.

Well so far I haven't found anything and Aeon Nox, despite being familiar, does not really come close to what I'd like visually (I do like the fact you can add custom entries to the main menu, which seems more difficult/impossible with the skins supported by Kodi 18 so far).

Did you try Aura from the same skinner (@jurialmonkey), yet? As somebody who got tired of wait for a v18 refresh of AZ, I'm more than happy after switching although it's still not in the official repo.

I checked that out, thanks. It does look similar in a lot of ways, but the things that make it different from Arctic Zephyr is what makes it less appealing .

jurialmonkey is busy with work at the moment but is still planning on updating his skins to work with kodi 18. His latest skin Aura is in the development section of the site, very stable and customisable.

At the moment I'm trying out OMNI, simple design and very fast. Reminds me of my old days with Mimic 😎.

I do miss A/Z as well, I have a lot of custom mods for it including extrathumbs and library editor.
