Like, let's say I was using Kodi to drive a 'video room' at a some kind of media convention where content was played by a schedule.  Could I configure Kodi to 'Play this episode at 5:00pm'? Then 'Play this at 6:00pm' and so on?

Yes, I have a addon for this... its currently in alpha and it's called "OnTime". When I get sometime I'll finalize the code and submit to kodis repo.

It was made for personal use... its easy enough to clean up the code and submit to the repository.
