Wow.

toover you really need to go find out all the facts before you accuse us of anything

elan was the one who decided to split up from the xbmc team
elan is the one adding new features to plex
elan is the one who decided to use the centerstage skin as the default

once elan decided to split we have nothing more to do with it in terms of influence other than he takes bits of our code he thinks is usefull.
Like jmarshall said if you don't like his version use ours its pretty much exactly the same and will play just as much as Plex does

toover Wrote:Let's be clear - the pre-plex, PM3, _normal_ versions of osxbmc that were released in the last 6 months are _the most important_ developments for XBMC in four years. Nothing you have done is anywhere close to just firing up a cheap little mac mini and watching high def content on the same UI that I used for years on my xbox.

But I guess that was just too good to let live, huh ? Better kill that off ASAP. Now we have to live with god-knows-what weirdo app it morphs into because you couldn't just leave well enough alone.
You really are a jerk for posting that without doing any kind of research first. Team-XBMC (the XBMC developers of the official XBMC here at xbmc.org) will continue to develop and release XBMC for Mac releases, (we are currently even developing a XBMC for Mac version for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger). XBMC is a cross-platform software all developed in one source code three so as XBMC for Linux and XBMC for Windows develops so does XBMC for Mac, and vice versa, a bug-fix or new feature/function on one platform is practically implemented into the other platforms at the same time.

Moving you posts to the locked thread with the existing discussion about this whole matter.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
