Hi krusty,

I've been enjoying serverwmc for years. Now I'm trying to make it work over internet between windows 10 as a server and rp3 with kodi as client over internet. I changed the configuration param UseUrlClientPaths_Kodi to true in order to get http urls rather than relying on network shares.

Right now I receive in the remote client all the channel list with the epg, but fails at playing. The problem seems to be the path returned by the server with a local ip

2018/08/27 18:21:00.160 OpenLiveStream> stream path returned to client: http://192.168.1.128:9180/serverwmc.stre....154.70.76

Is possible to force serverwmc to build a path with an internet domain? I want something like  

OpenLiveStream> stream path returned to client: http://my.domain.net:9180/serverwmc.stream/...

I found the param ForceLocalServerIPAddress that forces serverwmc to build paths with the specified IP. It's working great over internet, even with HD channels. But the param doesn't allow to set a domain name. But then, I guess two problems arise with this configuration: clients in the local network will not work and I will need a configuration update at server internet IP changes.

For me it's ok right now, but maybe it's a cool function for other people.

Good to know. If I can make some simple changes to it that would help let me know.  I'm surprised streaming doesn't have bandwidth issues.
