When updating from Leia beta 2 to beta 3 i suddenly couldn't access my SMB client. I then searched around the forum to see if there had been an issue before. There was some mentioning of the same problem in 2015. The solution was to remove special characters from the SMB client password. Special characters like #, for example.
Since my client is running on an Windows 10 PC, the SMB client password is the same as my account password. I do not want to reduce my account security by removing special characters.
My password works with 17.6, 18 beta 1 and beta 2. The problem occured when updating to beta 3.
