What type of subtitle file is embedded? Also SRT or some other type?
A debug log (wiki) is also welcome.

16:20:00.760 T:139749848668800 NOTICE: Disabled debug logging due to GUI setting. Level 0.
Next time, please enable debugging first, restart Kodi, and then reproduce the error(s) and provide the new debug log (wiki).
Right now, there is no single instance of an internal/embedded '.srt' to be found in the log file as there is no media info of the mkv file.
