Vu+ PVR addon is getting updates again

Have now tried on both of my PC's and seems pressing stop does actually work, but is taking about 15-20 seconds for it to happen before I can then select a new channel. The fact it's taking that length of time on both PC's makes me think the STB most be very slow in sending the stop command back to Kodi.
Mine is not the fastest either. Maybe 5-10 seconds.

If you can detail specifically exactly what the error is I can take a look at it.

Hi phunkyfish!

And thank you about your effort to this great addon.

What vplehto means, is that some Enigma-recordings have problems in Kodi. They play without any issues in STB, but sometimes length of the recording was displayed wrong in Kodi's video player OSD. On PVR recordings (list-view) length is correct. For example one episode of tv-serie length is normally one hour, but now OSD shows something weird between 4 hours or 20 hours. Offen, but not always this same recording doesn't allow any skip forward. If you try this, player stops immediatelly.

Similar issue here: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=322000 ("VU+ devices" also mentioned)
Ok, I've implemented GetStreamTimes for recordings which should rectify any issues hopefully.

https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.vuplus/pull/149

Once the PR is approved version 3.15.3 will be available. I also found another issue with starting a recording partway through an EPG entry which is also fixed for playback.

v3.15.3
- Fixed: GetStreamTimes not implemented for Recordings, fixes #148
- Fixed: When starting a recording partway through start time is EPG start not recording start, fixes #147

Can you post a full debug log and I can take a look?

Alternatively you could try the latest nightly for your platform which would be kodi 18. All the latest addon development has been kodi 18 only.

From Dublin?

Ya, I live over in Blanch.

You can’t install this addon from zip as it’s a binary addon. The easiest way to upgrade is to install the latest nightly release.

If you run on intel you’ll find the generic Libreelec release here: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=298462

All the newer features would only work on kodi 18.

Great work phunkyfish!

But unfortunately I cannot test it, because I am using stable version of Kodi (17.6) in my devices (LibreElec in Raspberry and AmLogic S912).

I didn't know that it isn't available in binary and everyone have to build it. Undecided

Ok, so if you want to try a nightly build for raspberry pi you will find it here:

https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=298461

I’m not sure about amlogic.

Or as a safer option the first beta of the next Libreelec release is just out: https://libreelec.tv/2018/12/libreelec-l...95-1-beta/

Hi,

Can someone share the 3.14 version for android? I can't install the last version on Kodi leia RC4 and 13.4 seems the most stable. I recently lost my "external storage" and can't recover the 3.14 from old addons folder on kodi. Thanks

You can download it here:-

The release above is only source code. You would need to build it from there.

Can you post the issues you are having with the latest version as those issues will need to be fixed for all Android users?
