@Hemin Can I ask what hardware and image you are using?

Once the PR is approved version 3.15.3 will be available. I also found another issue with starting a recording partway through an EPG entry which is also fixed for playback.

v3.15.3
- Fixed: GetStreamTimes not implemented for Recordings, fixes #148
- Fixed: When starting a recording partway through start time is EPG start not recording start, fixes #147

Unfortunately it didn't fix this issue. One user of our local forum tested it.

What do you need me to do, that you can solve this case?

A debug log of the issue happening would help. So enable debug logging in Kodi settings, restart kodi and reproduce the error. Then use pastebinit or https://paste.kodi.tv to post the log.

It would be easier to track if you could create a github issue for it here: https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.vuplus/issues

Then all the detail will be in one place.

For some reason I cannot create account to github. Anyway here is few pictures of this case:

Correct duration is 1 h 16 minutes and 59 seconds.

But in Kodi player it show's that recording is 10 h 20 minutes and 7 seconds.

I made a debug log now, but in that zip-file is 10 different logs files. Which one do you need?

It should just be kodi.log.

Make sure you use https://paste.kodi.tv to upload it.

Also, how big is the file? If I could get a copy of the files for an offending tv show (.eit, .ts, .ap, .cuts, .sc) I can hopefully reproduce locally. Possibly PM me a link to google drive zip or something.

Well... At the moment I only have movies, not TV-show episodes. And all of them are 2-4 GB. But as soon I got smaller file (next week at latest), I will contact you.

Cannot upload log to pastebin. It says "Document exceeds maximum lenght" (17 582 lines). Do you want me to send it to you By PM? Or do I split it to separate sections?

Splitting in two should be fine.

On the movie file the size is Ok once you have a way for me to get it (I don't know the single file size limit for Google Drive, Dropbox etc). Remember I need all the files not just the ts file.

 Here is my Kodi.log:

ozafedotey.kodi (paste)
awuwofivab.kodi (paste)
esuxugatos.kodi (paste)
jiwoxoxuge.kodi (paste)

Yes I understand that (...all Enigma2 recording files).

Is this the file you opened?

If so the durations is being reported as 7319 seconds, or 2 hours and 2 mins which sounds correct.

I see you are running a 32bit system. It will be interesting if I try the same file on 64bit do I get the same result.

Yes it is.  https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3647498/ (must be my wife's recordings ;-)

Correct lenght of recording is 2:01:59. But player shows 23:25:35.

EDIT: I dont know what did you find in that log, but my device is 64 bit (Amlogic S905W, quad-core 64 bit Arm Cortex A-53 cpu).

It's in the first line of your log, kodi is 32 bit:

Code:

13:34:18.698 T:4093714352 NOTICE: Starting Kodi (18.0-RC4 Git:18.0rc4-Leia). Platform: Linux ARM 32-bit
13:34:18.698 T:4093714352 NOTICE: Using Release Kodi x32 build
13:34:18.698 T:4093714352 NOTICE: Kodi compiled 2019-01-03 by GCC 8.2.0 for Linux ARM 32-bit version 3.14.29 (200221)
13:34:18.698 T:4093714352 NOTICE: Running on CoreELEC (official): 8.95.7 (9.0), kernel: Linux ARM 64-bit version 3.14.29 aarch64

Do CoreElec offer a 64bit Kodi? Also would be interested to see if you have the same problem running stock kodi on Mac or Windows.

Hmm... It's kind of hybrid. Kernel is build as 64bit with 32bit Userspace. More information there: https://discourse.coreelec.org/t/ce-s905...ion/2147/2

I don't think that it makes any difference. Users from our local forum has reported this same problem Kodi's with Raspberry, Android ja Intel platform. But I will install Kodi to Windows tomorrow. I can tell you them for sure.

If it’s on all platforms then for sure I will be able to reproduce locally once I have the files.

Having read about CoreElec now the core is 64bit but the user space where the addons run is 32bit. As the PVR addons are binary this could impact them.

I guess we’ll find out once you test with Windows.
