Can you post a full debug log and I can take a look?
Alternatively you could try the latest nightly for your platform which would be kodi 18. All the latest addon development has been kodi 18 only.

think i really being stupid here, but got the follow from the debug log. my guess is i'm trying to install the wrong zip
