Thanks for confirming! Just to be clear, I do not mean Kodi stereo sources only. 5.1 PCM is output all the time, including other Fire TV apps like YouTube or WOW, same goes for the Fire TV UI itself. The blue LED on the soundbar is on all the time.

With the recent update it the apk aren't getting installed can someone please confirm nothing happens after clicking on apk

You may have to go into settings and give install permissions for whatever app you're trying to install from (Kodi itself?). It used to be a global setting, but now it has to be set for each individual app that you want to install apks from.
