Thought I'd see if anyone else is having WMC guide issues lately. Didn't change anything in the server setup, been stable for months. all of a sudden (last few days), guide data isn't getting downloaded on the media center server. Have rebooted, manually kicked off download of updated guide (never notifies me it's complete), nothing seems to be working. This is a windows 7 WMC server, verizon Fios cable service (philadelphia, US), HDHomerun cable cards. live tv works fine, recordings play fine, just no guide data being downloaded.
Any advise? Other places to look? Other forums?

These wmc specific problems are probably best taken up on a wmc forum like greenbutton. You could try looking at the wmc history to see if there is a clue there what is going wrong. But fyi... something similar started happening to me months ago and rather then trying to figure out what was up, I decided I'd use the opportunity to give epg123 a try instead and haven't looked back. The guide data is better, epg123 has customizable features and it gives you more control over data retrieval.

Thanks. I came across the epg123 site looking around for some help last night. Was a bit intimidated by the setup, but that might be the route to go.
I'm half thinking it will resolve itself, but maybe that's the wishful half.
