I last used Kodi a few years ago, but recently got a 2014 Mac Mini to turn into another media center box with my backed up personal DVDs. I used to have a setup with what I believe was the Backrow theme, and the Cinema Experience add on so that when I played a movie from my library it would pull a trailer, then play a "start-up" sound, then maybe trigger a script to turn off the lights if I set it up correctly.
I have downloaded and installed 17.6 Krypton but haven't been able to recreate the functionality of what I used to have. Does the Cinema Experience add-on still work or is there another way to get this functionality? As I recall, only a few skins supported that Cinema Experience add-on, but I can't find anything current about that add-on and current skins.
Is it possible to recreate my old set up?
If so, what skin do I need and what add-on do I need?
