Solved Time shifting buffering
#1
I'm getting buffering when advancing through timeshifting, I can only seem to reproduce on my Nvidia Shield (seems to work ok on Windows and RPi hense why have posted in Android and not Live TV forum) although they are not all on the same build but are all pretty recent Version 18.

To reproduce: Watch live TV > Pause > wait a couple of minute > play and skip forward a minute > wait c30 seconds and buffering will happen.

I can reproduce this every time and it doesn't matter what channel.

Here's the log: https://paste.kodi.tv/gagisinoko
I think line 3900 Huh

Edit: Using TVheadend 4.3.1435, both hardwired into router, RPi are wireless and working fine

Thanks

I also have an nvidia shield. I can reproduce this issue. Did you ever get this to work?

TVHeadend Server 4.3.1292
Kodi 18.0 RC3 Git: 20181203

Which Kodi and which TVHeadend Server Version do you use?

I also experience this problem on my Shield TV (Android 8.0, Shield experience 7.1).
Kodi 18 RC2
Tvheadend 4.3-142 (running on the Shield)
Problem has been occurring since alpha builds of Kodi 18 (I think)
This happens whether I buffer to Shield internal storage or a USB hard drive.

I don't believe this has been fixed in any of the Release Candidates, the issue looks like its only appearing on combinations of Nvidia Shields/TVheadends, i'll dig out a fresh Log in the new year and will raise a bug.
