Padding and PrimeTime Recording
#1
I use PrimeTime Recording to record all of the shows that I want to see during primetime hours.  That way I don't have to set timers to record my favorite shows.  Instead, I just use the blacklist to block recording of the shows that I don't want to watch.

The problem that I'm encountering is that the shows recorded via PTR are not padded AT ALL.  Half-hour shows end up being recorded as 29:58, and I end up missing the last two seconds of the show.

How can I fix this?

Have you tried setting the padding to more then 10 minutes?

I think in the old version of kodi you are using you cannot set it.  So instead just set it in wmc's default recording settings and make sure this setting in serverwmc is set thus:
<PaddingType>wmc</PaddingType>

The version that I have has a checkbox to set a custom padding for sports, and then a separate checkbox to force padding at start or end for all recordings.  Will that checkbox work to force the default 3 minute padding on all recordings, or does it only affect sports, or does it only affect recordings set through ServerWMC?
