Hi,

Just bought an android box to play around with, after using Kodi in RPi for years.

I updated to Kodi 18 beta 4, and need to install the MediaPortal PVR plugin. Problem is, I can't find it! Does this mean it hasn't been compiled for Android and included in the repository, or do I need to download a new repository first?

The version of MediaPortal released into the binary repo didn't compile for android. I've fixed it in the meantime, but the maintainer (@margro) has to release a new version.

Hi @margro

When I install the plugin on Kodi 18 beta 4 on Android, as soon as the MediaPortal plugin is installed, I get crashes. I cannot even get to the point of configuring it.

Is anyone else using this successfully?

I cannot find the log files on my TX3 Mini Android 7 box.

I've pushed a fix in addon version 3.5.11 that should mitigate the crash.
The crash occurred inside Kodi when the addon returned a NULL pointer as result of the "GetConnectionString"call.
I'm now returning an empty string instead to prevent this crash.
