Hello,

I cannot play a video which is stored on my NAS, I am using SMB protocol for network file sharing. I am using OSMC on raspberry pi 3.

I read other threads and try to:
disable: Settings / system / Display (Expert) / Enable higher colour depth artwork
I also reduce the refresh rate from 50 to 24
Resolution is 1920x1080p

Any suggestions?

Please always provide the full & uncut debug log (wiki), and not just the part(s) that you may find interesting. Errors/bugs can begin at any moment.
Also don't forget to enable 'debugging' and restart for a clean log. Thanks.

Hello Klojum and black_eagle,

I have ambient light enable, I also have a script to auto start playing video (calling a python file) and another python script which dump some info from internet and toggles some GPIO, nothing fancy which should decrease performance.

black_eagle, I was also guessing that a format my be a problem. Tha is why I attached the mediainfo file. But I never had any problems with HD file before. Or is there some special format not supported?

Please ask on OSMC forum. We sadly cannot help as the code in OSMC is not kodi's Video code but a changed / improved / altered version of that.
