I could reproduced that. To be exact, this only occurs with the home menus that have an overlay, so vertical and all multi widget. So i don't know yet if the problem is solvable and if yes, without adding an excessive number of conditions. i'll see
You're a champ! Now that you mention the overlays, I noticed in the picture I posted earlier that the smudge is the same shape as the actual multi-widgets (when they are in use): https://m.imgur.com/a/QC4Sdkg
Could it be a kind of visual glow effect intended for the widgets, that somehow got massively compressed? If yes, could there be a way to disable the effect? The smudge is most noticeable against black backgrounds, but it definitely distorts other images as well – even on the widget backgrounds when they are in use (which I think is what the other user was posting about).
No, this is not a glow effect, nor is it meant to be one. This effect comes from 2 images:
- common/floor.png
- common/bg.jpg
