Hi,

as my new FireTV 4k Stick is not capable of playing 1080i h264 channels in Germany I wondered if there is a possibility to only transcode these channels.
Normaly it should be enough to deinterlace on the server so that the FireTV 4k Stick receives only progressive video.

All other channels can stay untouched.

Is there a possibility to do something like that?

Nope. At least not on the PVR side. Your best shot might be to modify the PVR code yourself and skip/add transcoding for/to the 1080i channels yourself.
