I know that Audio Level Control across a music or video playlist is in high demand. There have been "Tom Steady" plug-ins for other players, and the popular players have normalization built in.
Of late I was going thru the Android SMB/DLNA player options looking for a player that did large video playlists with shuffle and normalization.
BubbleUp and MX played very well but a shuffled playlist on the Bubble side was not passed to MX leaving MX to play sequential. What was working was the ability of the Precision Volume app to normalize the audio output from MX. I tried to add Kodi 17.x and the 18 release to Precision Volume's controlled players but there was no option.
Can this interface be enabled to bring a normalization capability to Kodi? If not could Tom Steady be adapted to be an Add=on?
