I'd like to record output from other plugins that provide streams via STRM URL (i.e.: plugin://plugin.video.youtube/play/?video_id=$VIDEOID). Does Tvheadend support STRM URL format? You can play that stream in IPTV simple client but it doesn't support recording. To be honest I would prefer Tvheadend solution as it's more mature and better supported, but if there is any other backend PVR service that works with that streams in Kodi it will be fine too.

To clarify my problem is with the "plugin://" protocol that is not recognized by Tvheadend. Perhaps there is any proxy service that could resolve those URLs and expose them via http?
