I'm wondering if it's possible to build an addon interface which then uses another addons content?

The reason I ask is because I use a very useful addon but the aesthetics are terrible. I would usually edit the addon resources to change thumbnails/artwork etc but this particular addon appears to use a 'thums.db' which is password protected - i assume all the artwork (or links to artwork) are inside this database.

So is it possible to build an addon which mimics the original addon in every way, except with my own graphics?

Code it specifically for the skin you're using by copying and then editing the XML files to the skin's XML folder.
