What would I need to do if I wanted to use TMM on two different computers?  Is there a certain file I can share/transfer between installs so that when I update my library on one computer, and later want to update it again on another, I don't have to rebuild/show the work I already did earlier as new?

Within /data is the complete config + database.
If your files are accessible at same (server/nas) location, you could easily copy that....

But when updating TMM itself on one side, you need to copy complete directory to other side as well (You might ignore the /cache dir)
Else we might crash on yet unknown DB entries or other things....

So day to day use, copy 'data' folder contents back and forth.  When TMM is updated, copy complete program to make sure.  Correct?
