SQL DB issues with Leia
#1
I have multiple profiles setup in my environment and each profile is pointing at a different db with everything working fine until Leia. My secondary profile's db upgraded to Leia without any issue, my primary though did not. I ended up moving the old db out of the area it was in so that kodi would create a new db rather than upgrading it which it did but now i cannot scan anything into my library. I can add a source, browse to it and play files from the videos view but as soon as i set the content type and tell it to refresh it does nothing.

The machine im testing on and the debug log is coming from is Windows 10 - here is my log - https://paste.kodi.tv/ukimenoqep.kodi

Can't say that I have the same problem, although I am using and old MySQL 5.5.26 server at the moment. My video database update from 115 to 116 does fine.

Can you enable the Database component in the debugging section, delete the 116 database from your Maria DB server, and restart Kodi for another video database upgrade?
And then provide the new kodi.log file?

14:55:30.921 T:18856 NOTICE: Starting Kodi (18.0-RC5 Git:20190112-3cbd6c1eec). Platform: Windows NT x86 64-bit

Sorry, missed it the 1st time round. There should be an upgrade to RC5.2. Things go can quickly at times.
Don't forget to delete your 116 database again. And was your Database component enabled in the debugging section?

On the download page it lists 5.2 as the current version. I did enable the database logging, did it not give you the info you were looking for?

I guess I was expecting/hoping for more than a single SQL query output. Smile

I'll poke one of the devs, and see if it needs another fix.

Error 1050 is "table already exists" and it is unlikely to be caused by Kodi. Did you try all recommended workarounds at e.g. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3302...t-does-not ?
