I had posted a thread at https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=339364 asking about music video scraping via IMVDB. I had heard of it from this official Wiki page: https://kodi.wiki/view/Music_videos

The thread got cut off because someone believed that IMVDB was only accessible via a banned repository. I got it the add-on via Github, as instructed by the Wiki.

So: are the Wiki pages valid information? If so, why did the thread get slapped down here?

I'd never heard of it, but as you say it's in the  wiki, it has a forum thread and the link in both is to github.
Mix up?

Yep, mix up. Seems TVA has the scraper hosted at their site and search results pointed there.
