Hi,

I had Kodi 18 sideload on my ipad running ios 11 and Kodi showed in the files app under “On my ipad” allowing me to manage my library from within the files app.

I know upgraded to ios 12, sideloaded kodi but no longer shows in the files app.

Does anyone know what must i do to make it work?

No one faces this issue in ios 12?

I’ve tried to dig deeper and sideload several other versions like 17.6 or previous 18 betas without success (everything works fine except the files app integration).

I’ve checked the plist for the version I used on ios 11 and the new version andntheynbothncontainet the entry

<key>UIFileSharingEnabled</key>
<true/>

So in theory this shouldmindicate support for the integration.

Can someone shed somelight on this? Is it a know issue? Are there workarounds or should i patiently wait?
