Solved Video Performance only good, when toolbar up... any ideas?
#1
hi!
No search responses on this, but, anyone run into this, or have any ideas/settings/clues on why it might be true?

Installed Kodi on an admittedly older machine. Windows 10, had updated it to an SSD, so it's ticking along just fine.

Video playback of even 1080p 4Gb files is just fine... as long as the pop-up toolbar is present at the bottom of the screen.
As soon as that "fades", video gets jittery.

Any thoughts?

Or, if no performance settings I should fix, is there an option to force the toolbar to stay up?

thanks!

No, not the nightly, the one I linked to.  Here's a direct link: http://mirrors.kodi.tv/test-builds/windo...st-x64.exe

Crud.
Sorry. Is there a 32bit version of that build avaialble? (as in, is it safe to just pull up the 20190115 32bit build and test that one)

FYI -
to close this topic, 18.0 auto-update has fixed this issue for me. :-)
