Archigos Wrote:Hey Billy... Just wanted to clear a few things up. First off sorry it took so long to post on here for you guys. Secondly, great program, I use it everytime I add more crap, which is pretty damn frequent. As you pointed out to the small amount of users you have were NOT to blame for me taking the site down. I was able to trace a few of the users that were doing full site rips and they were using a program called NeoDownloader which (pending on the site) does more then one hit per url it's pulling, which is what managed to cause almost 200,000 of the hits per day.
I apologize to you and your users about the site being gone, but Scott and I are currently working with Travis (independently it appears) to migrate our file over to his site.
Sidenote {rant}: (Again, not any of your users) I wish the community would realize what some of us do to try and give back, server costs, time, etc. to benefit the group and realize that either be respectful and not abuse what you're getting for free, or talk with the people doing it and see if you can help with donations, programming help, whatever. I guess what I'm saying is the few (around 20 people) screwed over what could be 1000's that would have benefited from MBD staying alive.
I appreciate the confirmation about Media Companions having little effect on moviebackdrops.com, you have my sympathy. It seems so often that things that could benefit the many are destroyed by the few. You are also right about how little people are prepared to give any kind of support to assist in the continued existence of something that benefits everybody.

I am scanning my last 300 movies so that's why i find all these quirks... i am
not LOOKING for them
Scraper stops parsing outline when it finds a URL.
Movie : Stick It (2006)
Scraper only returns this :
Code:After a run-in with the law, Haley Graham (
Instead of :
Code:After a run-in with the law, Haley Graham (Missy Peregrym) is forced to
return to the world from which she fled some years ago. Enrolled in an elite
gymnastics program run by the legendary Burt Vickerman (Jeff Bridges),
Haley's rebellious attitude gives way to something that just might be called
team spirit.
It chokes at the 1st link which is the IMDB page of Missy Peregrym.

Quick bug report :
Parser doesn't remove some HTML code from the Plot.
Example Movie : Lie With Me (2005)
What the parser returns in the Plot :
Code:Leila (<a href="/name/nm0809049/">Lauren Lee Smith</a>) is a sexually voracious young woman who connects with men through brief physical encounters. One night at a crowded house party, Leila meets David (<a href="/name/nm0050156/">Eric Balfour</a>) and its lust at first sight. Later, as she has casual sex with a stranger just behind the house, David and his girlfriend mirror her actions in their car. (removed the rest)

When choosing another language the program keep going back to English in every startup.
A default language choice will be great.
