breaksyid Wrote:Hi. I'm having trouble scanning files. I've got two network drives mapped on my windows laptop to samba shares on my ubuntu media centre. One for movies (M:\) and the other television (T:\). I've got the files labelled like this:
[MOVIES]
The Dark Knight (2008)
|
|------>The Dark Knight.avi
[TV]
Family Guy
|
|------> Season 01
|
|------->Family Guy - S01E01
Now, when I scan the TV drive, it doesn't find any of the episodes and no shows are in the 'Select TV Show' ComboBox. And when I set the path to the movies drive I get the following exception:
************** Exception Text **************
System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array.

Have you got any idea what's causing this?
Media Companion has problems when the paths added to the preferences are the root drive, I need to spend a bit of time just concentrating on this.
In the meantime you could create folders 'TV' & 'Movie' and move your shows and movies into them, Media Companion should then see them.
