I’m curious about what Kodi looked like on the XS Max you tested back in September with Beta 2.

This is what I see with the latest nightly using Estouchy. Just decided to check it out today. I’m more concerned with the interactive GUI elements working within the screen parameters than anything. The video would be great Netflix-app style (and YouTube, I think) where you can pinch to zoom into fullscreen, and pinch to zoom out for full image.

I can see everything at -8% zoom, but the app isn’t utilizing the full screen. (For better or worse, phones of all kinds moving forward will have these notched / curved corner screens...)


This approximates the edges when zoomed out.


Back at 0% zoom, we can see GUI elements out of bounds:


Here the scroll bar is cut off by the notch:


Flip the phone, and your navbar icons are cut off:


Also, the curved corners haven’t been accounted for.

I’m sharing because I was surprised to see this thread noted as “solved.”
